Balmoral Recreation Reserve Camping Ground

Located at the corner of Culverden Road and Balmoral Station Road, Balmoral Recreation Reserve Camping Ground is overseen by the Balmoral Recreation Area Charitable Trust (BRACT). This serene camping site offers a peaceful retreat in a picturesque setting.

Facilities:

• Summer Season: Provides non-powered sites, toilets, and accessible water taps.
• Winter Season (April after Easter weekend to Labour Weekend in October): Offers non-powered sites and a long drop toilet; running water is not available.

Booking & Payment:

• Reservations are not required.
• Payments can be made on-site to a committee member or at the designated Caltex Garage (Mockett Motors) in Culverden if no committee members are present.

Camping Fees:

• $5 per adult (16 years and over) per night.
• Includes accommodation for one adult and up to three school-aged children under 16 years.

Additional Information:

• Dogs are permitted but must be on a leash and owners must clean up after them.
• Recreational motorbikes are not allowed.
• Fires are allowed only during the open fire season; refer to the Fire Information Board at the camp entrance for details.
• Waste must be disposed of during transfer station opening hours or taken away upon departure.
