Beadworkz

Beadworkz Studio is located in the Savoy building at Dunedin's city centre. Here you will find both a working studio and a gallery display of meticulously crafted fine beadwork designed and made on site by Hannah Bailly. Hannah uses age-old techniques of weaving Japanese glass micro-beads with gemstones, pearl, crystal and shell into necklaces, bracelets, earrings, pendants and more. Each piece of Beadworkz jewellery is a small treasure, whether you are looking for ornate tapestry-like statement earrings, a chunky gemstone amulet, a delicate pearl charm pendant or a lovingly crafted keepsake locket made to contain something precious to you.

You can also sign up for a bead-weaving workshop (offered in the off peak season) or bring your costume jewellery in for repair.

While Hannah can generally be found at her workbench weekdays from 10am-4pm, Beadworkz hours are variable, so it is recommended to phone or text before visiting.
