Meet Burnett Piper Insurance Brokers, led by Ben Burnett, a seasoned insurance professional with vast experience in the industry since 2003. Ben's journey began with IAG, where he held various commercial underwriting roles. In pursuit of a better lifestyle, he relocated to Tauranga's NZI office, a move ahead of the curve as Tauranga became the fastest-growing city in NZ. During his time at NZI, Ben managed a portfolio of brokers in the Bay of Plenty region, underwriting a diverse range of commercial products. He helped brokers expand their businesses while maintaining a profitable book of business. In 2010, Ben transitioned to a local Broker firm before seizing an opportunity in 2013. He approached the firm with an offer to purchase his client base, leading him to establish Burnett Piper Insurance Brokers, a brokerage firm that continues to thrive.
