Christchurch Farmers Market

The Christchurch Farmers' Market has been operating since 2004, making it one of Canterbury's original food markets. It is set in the open air grounds of the historic Riccarton House and Bush at 16 Kahu Road, with the market winding beside the Avon River past the 1856 Homestead and gardens. With over 60 stalls, the market trades every Saturday from 9am. Recipes inspired by the vendors can be found at the Market info stall on Saturdays.
