Jimmy James Kouratoras is a contemporary artist working from Aotearoa New Zealand. He builds each surface in layers of acrylic paint, metal flake and resin on canvas. His work has been shown in New York, Beijing and across Aotearoa, including Toi Tū Toi Ora at Auckland Art Gallery, and he received the people's choice award at the Waikato Museum Contemporary Art Awards in 2025. He also makes limited edition prints on acid-free paper and archival canvas, each numbered and signed.
