Nelson Training Centre

Nelson Training Centre is a hospitality training provider run by YMCA Nelson, offering free courses to eligible 16 to 19 year olds funded by the Tertiary Education Commission. It is an NZQA Category 2 accredited provider and has trained students for the local hospitality industry for 30 years. The onsite cafe on Vanguard Street opens to the public every Thursday during the school term, giving students real workplace experience.
