New Zealand Glassworks

New Zealand Glassworks is the national centre for glass, located in Whanganui on Rutland Street. The facility supports a community of glass artists and offers interactive exhibits, workshops and demonstrations. Visitors can explore handmade jewellery, homewares and objects by local and national artists in the gallery and online shop. The centre runs beginner and specialist glassblowing workshops alongside public events and artist talks. Open seven days a week from 10am to 4:30pm, entry is free.
