NorthTec has been delivering education for the people of Tai Tokerau for over 40 years and continues to be committed to serving our communities. From our beginnings in 1978 as the Northland Community College, we’ve grown to become Tai Tokerau’s largest provider of tertiary and vocational education, with seven degree programmes and more than 100 study options. Our main campus is located at Raumanga Valley Road, Raumanga. This is where the majority of classes are held. Set in park-like grounds, this campus features classrooms and an interactive lecture theatre, a purposebuilt kitchen and restaurant; a working hair and beauty salon; science and computer laboratories; a modern art gallery and art studios. The campus also features NorthTec’s marae, Te Puna o Te Mātauranga and Whare Kai, Te Puna o te Ora.
