Salt Aotearoa

Salt Aotearoa is a certified independent freediving centre that connects wāhine to the moana, to themselves, and to each other through freediving and gathering kaimoana. Guided by values of mana wāhine, kaitiakitanga, and tuakana-teina, it runs community Salt Sessions, beginner workshops, SSI courses, Huntress spearfishing days, and Pacific Voyager trips. There are Salt clubs across Aotearoa including Auckland, Tauranga, and the Coromandel Peninsula, with many events low-cost or free.
