We welcome Travellers to come and stay both short & slightly longer term. If you want to stay for a few week's or even a month, which can be a great way to start your NZ/Aotearoa experience or to take a break mid way and foster closer relationships, then this may be possible. There is lots of work in Nelson all year round - cafe, admin, horticulture, in the port & for fishing companies, painting & working in construction.
