Te Kauri Lodge

Te Kauri Lodge is a group accommodation venue at 3679 State Highway 31 (Kawhia Road), Oparau, about an hour's drive from Hamilton and 20 minutes from Kawhia. Built in 1961 and owned by the Hamilton Junior Naturalist Club, it can accommodate up to 95 people and suits school camps, groups, weddings and events. It sits beside a 1,100 hectare native bush reserve with walking tracks.
