THREE REASONS TO JOIN THE CHEESE WHEEL AND EAT NZ ARTISAN CHEESE Our mission is to bring better cheese to the people, and by doing that, to help cheesemakers grow their markets. Here are our three (actually 4) reasons why it's important to buy NZ artisan cheese: (a) it's heaps yummier (b) you support our artisan food sector and the embedded value (quality ingredients, traditional techniques, expensive equipment, and high compliance costs), and (c) it grows good jobs by adding value to the commodity dairy industry. And let's add a fourth reason: (d) you minimise impact on the environment by eating locally produced food.
