The Hangi Shop
The Hangi Shop is a restaurant on Great South Road in Otahuhu, Auckland. Established in 2000, the whanau behind it come from a background in market gardening and bring that knowledge of a good harvest together with traditional Maori flavours and contemporary cooking styles. It serves authentic Maori kai rooted in Maori culture. The Hangi Shop is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10:30am to 8:30pm and Monday and Sunday from 11:30am to 7:00pm.
