The Honey Crate

The Honey Crate is a sustainable way to source your honey; brought direct to you, from our hives to your kitchen table. Our mission is to reduce the amount of packaging needed to bring honey to the supermarket shelves, by supplying our honey in glass jars that we will re-use and fill back up with delicious creamed clover honey. All of the honey comes from our own bees, that pollinate the rugged pastures of the Strath Taieri Valley in Middlemarch, Dunedin. We transport hives out to the most remote back blocks to pollinate the farmer’s clover crop. This means that the bees can collect clover honey, that is virtually untouched and free from any contaminates.

You have the option of either a x4 or x6 (700g) of the purest white clover honey all in re-usable packaging. All prices include GST.

White clover honey is the most versatile of honeys and is usually found in every kiwi’s pantry, due to it’s light + delicate flavour. This honey represents kiwi farmers and the quality of honey coming out of the Otago region.

The price initial of $80 or $110 is a one-off cost for your first crate. When you return your empty crate + jars we will replace it with a fresh crate of honey, and we won’t ever charge you again for the packaging.
