The Old Mountaineers Cafe

The Old Mountaineers Cafe is a café, bar and restaurant located next to the Department of Conservation Visitors Centre in Aoraki / Mount Cook. Run by owner and Chief Guide Charlie Hobbs, it serves food and drinks to visitors and adventure seekers. The business is part of Southern Alps Guiding, which offers a range of mountain and glacier activities including heli-hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, climbing and mountaineering on the Tasman Glacier and surrounding peaks.
