The work for sale is expertly curated to showcase the best of New Zealand. Authentic Māori taonga (treasures), premium corporate giftware, and a comprehensive body of unique products are on offer. The Poi Room works with and represents both established and emerging artists presenting some of the best contemporary art and object in New Zealand to local and international audiences. Melanie-Jane and Clayton Smith (the owners of The Poi Room) have been in business since 2006, and live and breathe the New Zealand story. Melanie-Jane (Ngati Porou) and Clayton are extremely passionate about contemporary Māori works, outstanding art objects, and treating oneself to works that have that ‘heart flutter’ moment.
