The Secret Sauna

The Secret Sauna offers wood fired saunas at two locations near Wānaka, one lakeside at Lake Hāwea and one in the mountains at Cardrona. Both spots have private and shared sessions, with cold dips in the lake or custom mountain pools between rounds. The saunas are custom handcrafted from Western Red Cedar and Baltic Pine. Launched in 2023 with a single eight-person barrel sauna, the business has since expanded to both sites.
