The Suter Art Gallery

The Suter Art Gallery Te Aratoi o Whakatū is the public art gallery for the Nelson Tasman region, offering free entry all year round. Situated beside the beautiful Queens Gardens on the edge of downtown Nelson, The Suter Art Gallery is one of New Zealand's oldest galleries. Founded in the late 19th century in memory of the second bishop of Nelson, it has a rich history and now serves as a contemporary gallery.
