Townshend Brewery

Founded in 2005 by Martin Townshend in Motueka, the leafy heart of New Zealand's hop-growing region, we built our reputation on fresh Nelson hops, pristine Motueka water and traditional brewing methods.

Today our beers are still brewed to the same original recipes with premium New Zealand hops, malt and yeast, delivering the bold, authentic flavours that earned us Champion NZ Brewery & Manufacturer of the Year in 2014. Whether you're searching for classic Kiwi craft beer, a traditional real ale or a hop-forward IPA, you'll taste our passion for brewing in every glass.
