Waiuku Zero Waste

The Waiuku Community Recycling Centre is run by Waiuku Zero Waste Ltd. This was a joint venture between the Waiuku and Districts Community Workshop Trust and Raglan/Whaingaroa’s waste success story, Xtreme Zero Waste. We are contracted to Auckland Council. Xtreme Zero helped us over our first four years and now Waiuku Zero Waste is entirely locally run as an independent operator, thriving in a network of successful zero-waste operators around Aotearoa.
