Designer Permanent Makeup is run by Kathy Basalaj in Nelson City. Kathy specialises in permanent makeup, also known as cosmetic tattooing, for eyebrows, eyeliner and lip colour, along with areola and nipple creation after breast reconstruction, corrections and Dermapen dermal needling. With over 28 years experience in New Zealand and overseas, she worked alongside a plastic surgeon at Nelson Plastic Surgery for 13 years. She is now based above Life Prices Pharmacy on the corner of Collingwood and Hardy Street.
