Energy & Utilities in New Zealand

Energy and utilities suppliers keep homes and businesses running, from bottled and reticulated LPG to electricity, solar and related connection services. Many deliver gas bottles on a regular cycle, install and service tanks and appliances, and tailor supply plans for households, farms, restaurants and commercial sites. Rural customers, hospitality operators and growing businesses all rely on them for heating, hot water, cooking and backup power.

Check what the supplier actually delivers to your area, as bottle sizes, delivery days and reticulated coverage vary by region. Ask how ordering and refills work, whether online, by app or over the phone, and what the turnaround is when you run low. Confirm pricing on both the gas and any rental or delivery fees, check how safety and tank servicing are handled, and ask whether they can advise on the right setup for your home or business.
