Harakeke Ora

Harakeke Ora is based in Shannon and runs zero-waste weaving and paper-making workshops. The focus is on sustainable Māori art, with tikanga at the heart of the mahi. All skill levels are welcome, from beginners through to those with more experience. The workshops bring together care, culture and connection, giving people a chance to create with their hands while learning ways of working that respect the environment.
