Harbour Co-op

Harbour Co-op is a low-profit, community-owned shop dedicated to providing organic wholefoods, supporting local suppliers and makers, and reducing our ecological footprint. Established after the 2010 earthquakes, the co-op was formed by local residents committed to having a dedicated wholefoods shop in their neighbourhood.

Our Mission: We are a community-owned co-operative, with ownership shared among 215 households, employees, and three institutional purchasers. Together, we support local, organic, fair trade, and wholefoods producers, passionate about organic food, waste minimisation, and a sustainable future for our communities.
