Piko Wholefoods

Piko Wholefoods is a vegetarian wholefood store in Christchurch, set up in 1979. It specialises in certified organic and gluten free foods, and in 2014 became Christchurch's first BioGro Certified Organic Retail Store. Many goods are sold in bulk to keep costs down and encourage reusing containers. Piko is a workers co-operative and charitable trust with a low profit policy, committed to local produce and Fairtrade products. It also runs a delivery service on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
