Rutherford Street Kindergarten

Rutherford Street Kindergarten is a welcoming, not-for-profit early childhood centre in Nelson for tamariki aged 2–6 years. We provide high-quality care and education in a respectful, nurturing environment where kaiako and whānau work together to support each child to feel secure, confident and empowered to learn. Our play-based programme is guided by Te Whāriki, with a focus on curiosity, creativity, social and emotional development, belonging, and care for people, places and the environment. We celebrate the diverse languages, cultures and strengths of our community.
