Take Charge is a dedicated service in Christchurch that helps young people aged 18 to 24 with mild to moderate mental health issues take their next step toward employment or study. We work alongside you to empower you with the skills and confidence needed to achieve your goals, offering personalised support every step of the way.

Tailored Employment & Study Support

Whether you have a clear path in mind or are still figuring things out, Take Charge is here to guide you. We offer up to 12 months of support to help you find work or study, followed by an additional 12 months to ensure you maintain your progress. Our employment specialists assist with CV writing, interview skills, and overcoming personal barriers to success.

Mental Health Support & Group Therapy

We provide one-on-one counselling and group therapy to address issues such as depression, anxiety, or addictive behaviours, helping you overcome challenges that may stand in your way. Our group therapy sessions offer a supportive space to discuss topics like wellness, relationships, and more.
