The Rumpus Room

The Rumpus Room operates two childcare centres in Auckland: Point Chevalier (opened 2012) and Waterview (opened 2016). Founded by Cameron Greig and Beth McKay, the centres use a play-based, project-centred approach to early childhood education. They focus on building trusting relationships between children, teachers and families, and maintaining strong connections to the local community. Centre Manager Carolyn Laban oversees day-to-day operations at both locations.
