Tū Mātau Ora

Tū Mātau Ora is founded on the vision of mātauranga Māori informing positive outcomes for individuals, communities and environments. As one of Aotearoa New Zealand's leading taonga tākaro providers, advocates and research practitioners, they work to revitalise and normalise traditional Māori games and activities as a fun, safe way to engage, educate and empower. They share taonga tākaro with kura from year 1 to 13, support leadership development, and work with everyone from early childhood through to kaumātua. They also develop play resources known as taputapu tākaro.
