Kiwi North

Kiwi North is a Whangārei attraction set on 25 hectares of farmland, forest and bush at Maunu, about 10 minutes from the CBD. It is home to Northland's only nocturnal kiwi house, where visitors can see native species including geckos. The site also features the Whangārei Museum with collections of over 80,000 items, Victorian heritage buildings and a gift store. It is open seven days from 10am to 4pm.
