Whangārei Art Museum

Whangārei Art Museum is the city's public art museum, based at 91 Dent Street in the Town Basin. Entry is free and the museum is open every day from 10am to 4pm, closing only on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and Good Friday. It holds a collection of works by New Zealand artists and runs changing exhibitions along with programmes for school groups and visitors. People can also support the museum to help bring new art and ideas to Whangārei and the wider Northland region.
