Elephant Rocks is a limestone rock formation site located on Island Cliff-Duntroon Road near Duntroon in the Waitaki Valley. Sitting within the Waitaki Whitestone UNESCO Global Geopark, the towering weathered rocks resemble a herd of elephants and served as a filming location for The Chronicles of Narnia. The site is on a working private farm, with a short walk from the road, on-site toilets and parking opposite the entrance. Entry is by donation.
