Kirini is a business consultancy working across Aotearoa New Zealand on long-term land use plans and master plans for whenua development, including papakāinga. The team combines Nature-based Solutions and engineered approaches with modern science, climate modelling, mātauranga Māori and local knowledge, with a focus on climate resilience and long-term visioning. Led by Dr Richard Morris and Moira Lomas, both with 30 years experience, Kirini listens first to understand the land before developing actionable plans.
