Taikura Consultants Ltd provides Māori public health expertise to organisations across New Zealand. Led by Dr Elana Curtis, the business offers an online course called Introduction to Māori Health, which runs over four hours across six modules and is endorsed by RNZCGP, ACEM, CICM, RNZCUC and RANZCR. Taikura also delivers in-person workshops, organisational packages, peer review and one on one mentoring, helping teams work toward being Treaty compliant, pro-equity, culturally safe and anti-racist.
